We offer a comfortable, peaceful stay in our rustic home in the stunning countryside of the Serra da Lousã, just 5 minutes from Lousã, which is ideally situated to explore the Central region of Portugal, which is packed with history, has stunning scenery and some of the best beaches in Europe.

This area of Portugal is easily reached via the international airports of Lisbon and Porto. Lousã is only a 2 hour and 1½ hour drive from Lisbon and Porto respectively, via the excellent motorway network. Or for a relaxed journey the Alpha trains speed you to Coimbra at 200mph. The area has a good road network and Coimbra is only 30 minutes by car or rail.

The surrounding countryside offers something for everyone, for the adventurous, paragliding, canoeing, off roading, mountain biking, or all year skiing in the Serra da Estrela. A gentle horse ride or rambling, or just relaxing at a river beach maybe fishing or a round of golf, or sampling the food specialties of Portugal, at the many restaurants and bars.
